COLEEN ROONEY, wife of the Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney, has been spotted sunning herself alongside her family in Paphos at the five star Aphrodite Hills resort, although her husband is absent.
The couple’s youngest son, 15-month-old Klay, was seen enjoying kicking a ball about by the pool in the wake of his Dad being named as captain of the England football team. Last week Rooney tweeted: “Being named England captain is a dream and something I’ll take great pride in doing.”
Rooney is one of the highest paid footballers in the world and it seems as if his son is eager to follow in his footsteps.
Klay played happily around the pool with his miniature football and sported a long sleeved superman swimming costume.
Although Coleen Rooney is one of the most photographed women in the world, staff at the exclusive resorts spa seemed relatively unaware of their famous guest.
A staff member said that the TV presenter, who is enjoying her ninth holiday in a year, hadn’t taken any treatments at the resort in the last few days and was unsure of Coleen’s or Wayne Rooney’s name or fame.
The Daily Mail newspaper said the 28-year-old mum was seen relaxing by the pool, and is also accompanied by oldest son Kai, four, and parents Tony and Collette McLoughlin.
Following Klay’s birth in May 2013, the family has enjoyed eight other vacations spending time in Portugal, Barbados, Dubai, Las Vegas and Brazil.
The sun worshipper is also a columnist and celebrity product endorser and patron of the Liverpool Based Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
