Pedestrian hit by car in Limassol

A 63-year-old pedestrian was in intensive care on Saturday after being hit by a car in Limassol town.

The incident happened on Friday night as the man was crossing Nikos Pathichis Street when he was hit by a car driven by a 24-year-old, also from Limassol.

The 63-year-old was taken by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital, where he was found to have suffered fractures to the ribs and spine and bruising on various parts of his body.

Police are investigating.
