Love knows no lines

By Maria Gregoriou

Home for Cooperation is celebrating its fourth birthday tomorrow, Tuesday, and is inviting us all to join in the party mood.

From 6pm the road between the two checkpoints, known as the Ledra Palace crossing line will become a Green Line Love Park for an hour.

During this time amateur and professional participants from the Theatrical Thursday workshops run at the home, will be putting on a performance.

The street will be transformed into a colourful and vibrant place where people can come together and let an outdoor performance unite them. Actors will mingle with people and give a taste of love and cooperation through their performances.

According to the home’s press release “Green Line Love Park will remind you that when there is a ground paved with good intention, a feast with balloons, magical balls, painters, eco system guides, beekeepers, singers, talking statues, flower sellers, jugglers, free huggers and legendary characters can also flourish for a possibility of unity and celebration. The performers from across the divide will be more than happy to welcome you for this possibility.”

The performance was put together under the guidance of the workshop instructor and actor Marios Ioannou.
