Anastasiades off to China

President Nicos Anastasiades, is due to depart for China on Tuesday afternoon.

According to an official announcement, during his stay in the Chinese capital Beijing,  Anastasiades will meet the President of the People’s Republic Xi Jinping and will participate in the Asian Political Parties Conference “New View of the Silk Road: Action for Common Development.” Anastasiades will also deliver a speech at a Beijing University.

On October 16, Anastasiades will address a Business Forum organised by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He will later depart for Shanghai where he will address a forum organised by the Cyprus Land and Building Developers Association.

Anastasiades is being accompanied by Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides, Transport Minister Marios Demetriades and Government Spokesman Nicos Christodoulides.

Anastasiades will return to Cyprus on 19 October.
