Swine flu case detected in north

A 52-year-old woman was found to be ill with swine flu in the occupied areas it emerged on Friday.

According to Turkish Cypriot news agency TAK, the woman was diagnosed on January 12, but the health authorities were notified three days later.

The woman is being treated in the intensive care unit.

Health authorities urged the public not to panic since all measures were put in place.
