Nine artists will come together tomorrow to showcase their work in the first Cyprus Third Age (C3A) Organisation, Limassol branch art exhibition.
C3A is a self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operative for those who are no longer in full time work. It was established in 2003 with an approach that learning can be done for pleasure, and draws members from across the island. Members of the organisation offer each other the chance to study different subjects in such fields as art, languages, music, history, archaeology, computing, archery, sailing and photography.
To share what the Limassol art branch members have created, they are now ready to put their paintings out there. Some members have been painting for years and other have just recently found the passion for art. Learning from each other and sharing their enthusiasm, the members invite all to celebrate art with them at the Tonia Studio and Art Gallery.
The members taking part in the exhibition are Ann Turtle, Barbara Johnson, Brian Morgan, Carolyn Artemiou, Christine Nicola, Denise Weaver, Michelle Pepper, Soona Bowes and Sue Leach.
The group is led by Jane Webster an artist and qualified art teacher who lives and paints in her studio in Limassol.
The exhibition will open tomorrow at 7pm until 9pm and will remain open until June 20.
