Police warn drivers over dangerous driving conditions

Police urged motorists on Thursday to be especially careful due to intense weather conditions.

Torrential rains caused water accumulation and low visibility on the Limassol to Paphos motorway in the Erimi, Ypsonas and Pissouri areas. There are also very strong winds.

Police urged motorists to drive at low speed, maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead and have the headlights on.

All changes to the road network due to weather conditions are changed in real-time in the ‘roads’ category on the Cyprus police app, as well as their website and their Facebook page.
