Coronavirus: one new case announced on Thursday

One new case of Covid-19 was announced Thursday, bringing the cumulative total in the south of the island to 992.

The latest case detected was among 1,104 lab tests, the health ministry said.

The carrier is a foreign national who recently arrived in Cyprus and underwent a random test at the airport. The individual hails from one of the countries designated in the ‘A’ category in terms of risk.
