Valuables worth €7,600 stolen from Paphos home

Paphos police are investigating the theft of valuables worth €7,600 from a home, a crime committed between January 12 and 19.

The house owner, 56-year-old British permanent resident, reported to police on Tuesday afternoon that the perpetrator or perpetrators entered his apartment during the past week while he was absent.

He said they took a valuable watch, a gold necklace, as well as some jewellery and perfume, worth in total €7.600.

Police officers at the scene found no evidence of a forced entry and believe the owner forgot to secure a window.
