One, two-ingredient chocolate bar? That’ll be $450, please

In this video, Oded Brenner, a chocolate expert and owner of Blue Stripes Urban Cacao in New York City, weighs up the merits of a 1.76-ounce $450 chocolate bar from To’ak Chocolate – a company that produces luxury dark chocolate from rare Ecuadorian cacao trees.

Few will get their hands on one of these exclusive chocolate bars… there are only 175 of them in the world, and they’re made of just two ingredients: cacao and sugar. As befits their exclusive status – and hefty price tag – each bar comes packaged with an original print by artist Oswaldo Guayasamín.
