The effect of illegal carnival gatherings last weekend and the relaxations of measures last Tuesday will start to be seen by the epidemiological team as of this coming Tuesday, a source told the Cyprus News Agency on Sunday.

According to the same source, the epidemiologists will meet on Tuesday to assess the current situation with any new measures expected to be announced on March 30 and 31.

Also on Tuesday whether or not to change the number of SMSs a day allowed is expected to be discussed.

The demand of parents for gymnasium children to return to the classroom before April 2 is also set to be discussed.

Head of the scientific committee Constantinos Tsioutis is already having meetings with concerned parties about children returning to the classroom.

The current decrees expire on March 31.
