How to lay foundations of success in life as a teen

Hey kids, we get it: as you grow up, you’re bombarded with ideas about what it means to plan for a life of success.

This video asks you to consider the price of conforming and rebelling, and the benefits of thinking for yourself, and being yourself. In other words, neither forcing yourself to fit in, nor acting out and rebelling out of a desire to have an identity.

This is a video about alignment and embracing the person that you are. That will take you further than you can imagine, just a little later down the line.

Another piece of advice shared here is: learn to apply yourself and try to get a job early; take steps to learn how to support yourself. Even if you’re not going to become an entrepreneur, kids who practise self-sufficiency and learn about financial independence, will be much better prepared to do well – and not just monetarily – as adults.

Next, take an hour a day for self-growth and to build skills in something that you love. Make a commitment to improving your life actively and/or a passion of yours, deliberately. Think of it as a daily hour of investing in yourself.

Finally, build tiny self-discipline habits. Pick a goal, no matter how small, and stick to it. Then stretch it to a bigger goal, and so on.

All of these ideas will build your character and set you up for living life correctly and powerfully, as yourself.
