Actress Carey Mulligan discusses the impact and conversations sparked – across genders – by Oscar-nominated black comedy thriller ‘Promising Young Woman’, in which her character seeks to avenge the death of her best friend, a victim of rape.

The film earned five nominations at the 93rd Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actress for Mulligan.
