Paphos police investigate bakery robbery

Paphos police were investigating on Wednesday after two masked persons stole money from a 24/7 bakery on Ellados avenue.

The robbery was reported to the police by the 47-year-old female employee of the bakery at 4.50am on Wednesday.

According to her statement, two individuals wearing a mask and dark clothes had entered into the bakery 20 minutes prior and had stolen an unspecified amount of money from the cash register. They were both described a slim.

One of them was holding a wooden bat.

Officers went to the scene and collected evidence to identify the culprits.
