Car arson in Limassol

A car belonging to the 72-year-old community leader of Ayios Mamas, Limassol district, was set on fire in the early hours of Friday. The fire to the car, which was parked outside the man’s house, was noticed at 1.30am.

Members of the police and fire service rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire.The fire caused extensive damage to the car, the value of which is estimated at €4.000. The community leader said he didn’t suspect anyone.
