A 38-year-old was arrested on Thursday in Nicosia following a police check after it was discovered that he was driving a stolen car.
The car had been reported missing since October 8, while during the checks the police also subjected the man to a narcotest which returned positive. He was subsequently arrested.
The Lakatamia and Pera Chorio police stations are continuing their investigations into the incident.
