Three illegal workers and employer booked in Paphos

The Paphos immigration police on Tuesday arrested three more people in a coordinated crack down on illegal employment.

According to police spokesman Michalis Nikolaou at 8.45am, following a tip-off, inspectors checked a restaurant on 25 March Street.

Three illegal workers, aged 27, 29, 31 were found to be employed at the premises, who were arrested and taken into custody.

Their employer, a 35-year-old man, was interrogated and accused in writing, where after he was released to be summoned to court at a later date.
