In Nicosia, officers carried out 2,612 inspections, in Limassol 2,555, in Larnaca 725, in Paphos 1,057, in Famagusta 698 and in the Morphou district 160.
Marine police also participated with 11 checks.
15 persons were booked in Nicosia, 20 in Limassol, 10 in Larnaca, and six each in Paphos and Famagusta.
