Burglars net €4,000 in cash from Yeroskipou home

Paphos police are investigating a burglary after a 40-year-old reported jewellery and €4,000 in cash were stolen from his house late on Monday.

The homeowner reported the theft at 8pm to the police. He said he was absent for about two hours when unknown people broke in the Yeroskipou house.

According to Paphos CID, the culprits entered the property from a metal door in the living room that was left unlocked.

Police collected evidence to try and identify the suspects.

The stolen property was not insured.
