Coronavirus: six businesses, 130 individuals booked

Police booked six businesses, down from 13 a day earlier, for violating coronavirus measures during 24 hours from Thursday until Friday.

One of the establishments which flouted the protocols is in Nicosia, three are in Limassol, one is in Larnaca and one in Paphos.

As the result of 11,144 checks, 130 individuals were fined.

22 persons were booked in Nicosia, 47 in Limassol, 21 in Larnaca, 24 in Paphos, four in Famagusta and one in Morphou.

11 persons were fined by traffic police.

Of the 13 establishments booked from Wednesday until Thursday 11 are located in Nicosia and two in Paphos.
