Coronavirus: Archaeological site at Amathus closed to public after staff test positive

The Amathus archaeological site in Limassol will remain closed until further notice it was announced on Thursday after coronavirus cases were detected among staff.

The site closed on Monday after Covid-19 cases were found among staff.

The antiquities department said the archaeological site will remain closed until further notice. It apologises for the inconvenience caused by this decision, which, it said, was deemed necessary for the protection of public health.
