Electric solo concert by Alkinoos Ioannides

Popular Greek singer Alkinoos Ioannides is making his return to the stage of Gazarte concert hall in Athens for a unique Livestreaming show, that will be broadcast in real-time all over the world, on Saturday, April 24 at 9pm.

The renowned song-maker will stage a solo show with a specially selected song list for the evening, that will unveil new stories. All by himself on the stage, but simultaneously in tune with audiences around the world, he will reflect on dreams and vivid realities of the times.

Ioannides is well-known for his acoustic guitar and lute, for this upcoming performance though the electric guitar will be the core instrumentation. Expanding the palette created through the guitar pedals, the artist rediscovers his identity in electric sound. This distinctive approach and his inimitable voice on the microphone offer a new take on the songs, while the backdrop visuals will ensure a fully mystifying experience.

A unique pre-show with Ioannides is opening the live show at 8.30pm, where he will share his thoughts on this new solo project, featuring footage from behind the scenes, the preparation of the live concert and the soundcheck. Then at 9pm, Alkinoos will present beloved, timeless songs that aim to bring everyone together, from wherever they are.
