Both lanes of the motorway from Nicosia to Larnaca have been closed because of an accident, police announced on Thursday morning.
Traffic will be diverted from the Pera Chorio exit to the old Nicosia-Larnaca road and drivers will be able to re-enter the motorway at the Lympia roundabout.
Police has urged drivers to be careful and follow instructions of officers at the scene.
