Coronavirus: No fines for violations issued in Limassol, Paphos or Morphou

Cyprus police performed 7,544 checks and fined 20 people for violating coronavirus protocols in the 24 hours leading  up to 6am on Monday.

Seven people were fined in Nicosia after 1,672 checks and six in Larnaca after 638 checks.

In Famagusta seven people were fined after 618 checks.

No violations were reported in Limassol, Paphos and Morphou after 2,142, 1,424 and 537 tests respectively.

Traffic and marine police also performed 475 and 38 checks respectively without finding any violations.

The checks were carried out between 6am on Sunday and 6am on Monday.
