Four arrested after theft of perfumes worth €950

Four people were arrested on suspicion of stealing perfumes worth €950 from a Nicosia shop, police said on Tuesday.

The suspects, aged 18, 20, 25 and 32, were arrested on Monday after police received information regarding the theft.

According to police, the four were found near the crime scene with several perfume bottles in their possession.

In a subsequent search at their Nicosia house, officers found more perfumes as well as a number of clothes and shoes which they suspect were stolen.

The suspects are facing charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, theft, illegal possession of property and money laundering
