The met office has issued a yellow warning for high temperatures between Monday 1am and 4pm.
According to the weather warning, the minimum temperature inland is expected to be 26 degrees Celsius on Sunday evening.
On Monday, temperatures will reach 41C inland and 32C in the higher mountainous areas.
