The health ministry said on Tuesday people aged 75 and above will be eligible for Covid booster shots starting Wednesday.
Booster shots are being administered at vaccination centres across the Republic, either by appointment arranged through the vaccination portal or at walk-in facilities without appointment.
Walk-in centres are open Monday to Thursday from 8am to 1pm.
So far, 13,844 eligible people have received their booster shot, the ministry said.
