Two drivers booked for speeding

Nicosia traffic police booked two drivers for speeding in the early morning hours on Wednesday.

The first man was caught driving at 105kph instead of abiding to the maximum speed limit of 50kph at around 2am in Engomi.

A few minutes earlier, police also stopped a 19-year-old who was driving at 91kph at a road in Makedonitissa where the maximum speed limit is set at 50kph.

Both men were charged and released pending their court appearance.
