House transport committee visits Paphos airport

Issues related to operations at Paphos airport, in particular air connections and the state of the roads leading to the airport, were discussed by the House Transport Committee during a visit to the facility on Friday, where it met the airport’s officials.

Speaking to the media after the visit, committee president Marinos Moushouttas said the main issues discussed were a potential direct link between Paphos and Athens and the upgrade of the roads surrounding the airport, some of which are currently in a bad state.

He added that all ideas and suggestions will be passed on to the relevant ministries and pushed as soon as possible.
