Coronavirus: Seven people and one business fined for violating measures

Seven individuals and one business owner have been fined for breaking coronavirus regulations in the 24 hours leading up to 6am on Friday morning.

According to the police, a total of 1,647 checks were carried out.

In Nicosia 497 checks resulted in three people and the one business owner being charged, while in Limassol two individuals were fined after 123 checks.

In Larnaca one person was fined following 315 checks and in Paphos 41 checks failed to find any violations. In Famagusta one person was fined after 360 checks.
