Citizen’s service centres launching video appointments

The deputy ministry of research, innovation and digital policy on Thursday announced the launch of a new digital platform aimed at connecting, informing, and facilitating electronic transactions between the public and the citizens’ service centres (KEP).

Through MyGovLive, people will be able to arrange video conference appointments with KEP representatives and effect electronic transactions related to the services provided.

For the time being, MyGovLive includes only Cypriot citizens using a CY login, that’s a prerequisite in accessing a wide range of electronic services provided by the Republic that would otherwise require physical presence.

Authorities aim to expand the service provided on the platform, which is designed to facilitate and promote electronic transactions and upgrade of the quality of services.

The platform has been developed in a context of cooperation between the Republic’s deputy ministry and the Greek ministry of digital governance.

The platform will be accessible by Wednesday, April 20, 2022, via www.mygovlive.gov.cy and the first video conference appointment slots will be available by May 2, 2022.
