Forest fire in Moniatis under complete control

Ten firefighters and four trucks were required to extinguish the fire

The forest fire which broke out in the  Moniatis area of Limassol district on Sunday has been brought under complete control, an announcement of the forestry department said.

The fire, which started Sunday late afternoon, burned one thousand square metres of land with pine trees and required ten firefighters and 4 service trucks to be extinguished.

The exact causes of the fire are still being investigated.
