Limassol woman hospitalised for snake bite

Blunt nose viper

A 43-year old woman is in a serious condition after being bitten by a viper on Friday.

Cybc reported that the woman was receiving treatment at Limassol General Hospital’s intensive care unit. Her condition is serious, but stable.

According to a police report, the incident happened while the woman was collecting capers in the mountain village of Trimiklini in the Limassol district.
