CING to welcome post-grad students from Bahrain

The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING)

The first students from the Kingdom of Bahrain are expected to arrive in September to the postgraduate school of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING).

According to a statement from CING the graduate school successfully completed the accreditation process for the recognition of its postgraduate programmes by the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The recognition strengthens the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the ministry of Foreign Affairs and CING, was signed in 2021.

The purpose of the MoC which has an initial duration of two years, is to institutionalise cooperation for the implementation of a wide range of targeted actions, such as, the granting of scholarships, cooperation for the development and implementation of research programs and the strengthening of scientific cooperation with Middle East countries.

In addition to the domestic accreditations, the school also holds accreditation from China, Oman, and Jordan.

Postgraduate programmes are offered in the fields of Medical Genetics (MSc and PhD), Molecular Medicine (MSc and PhD), Neuroscience (MSc and PhD), Biomedical Research (MSc) and scholarships are offered in both the masters’ and doctoral programmes.
