Thousands in jewellery and cash swiped from villa in Akoursos

Thousands of euros worth of jewellery and cash were allegedly robbed from a residence located in the area of Akoursos village in the Paphos district.

According to a Paphos police spokesman, the owner of the residence on Saturday reported that burglars entered her villa and took the sum of €5,000 as well as jewellery worth €45,000.

Peyia police went to the scene and from further examinations it became clear that the perpetrators broke a window and entered the house.

The police collected various evidence from the scene in an effort to identify the perpetrators.

Investigations by Paphos police in collaboration with police in Peyia continue.
