Man arrested for stealing electricity

A 32-year-old permanent resident is under arrest on suspicion of stealing electricity from an EAC substation in Paphos.

Paphos police said that they and technical staff from the EAC had carried out checks at an apartment complex in Chlorakas where they found that a cable had been illegally installed to supply electricity to a specific apartment.

Testimony was obtained against a 32-year-old man who was arrested and is currently in custody.

Paphos police investigations continue.
