A 14-year-old boy was found driving a motorcycle without brakes, a driver’s licence and certificate of insurance, Paphos police said on Wednesday.

According to police spokesman and head of Paphos CID Michalis Nicolaou at 10.40pm on Tuesday Paphos traffic police stopped a motorcycle that had no headlights.

It was then found that the driver was a minor.

Nicolaou added that the motorcycle was written off, had no breaks, while the driver due to his age had no driver’s licence or an insurance certificate.

His parents were informed as Paphos traffic police are investigating further.
