Paphos police reported 66 drivers for traffic offenses on Wednesday as part of the district’s campaign to clamp down on dangerous driving and reduce road deaths.

Michalis Nikolaou, press officer and chief of police for Paphos’ main station, said that one of those reported had tested positive for drug use while driving. Another was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.

He reiterated that the unit will continue to carry out such campaigns.
