15-year-old stopped driving quad bike

Police in Paphos stopped a 15-year-old minor driving a quad bike on Coral Bay Avenue.

According to police spokesman Michalis Nikolaou, close to midnight on Sunday the quad bike driven by the 15-year-old, with a 16-year-old passenger was intercepted and the teenagers were led to Peyia police station, where the driver’s parents were called.

Meanwhile, 296 traffic fines were issued in Paphos over the last three days, most related to speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of illicit drugs.
