Almost 100 drivers reported overnight by Paphos police

Most of the 97 traffic violations recorded in an operation in Paphos over Wednesday night concern speeding, police said on Thursday.

Specifically, traffic police with the aim of preventing road collisions, reported 97 drivers, most of whom had exceeded the speed limit.

According to Paphos police spokesman and CID chief Michalis Nicolaou, 56 related to speed limit violations and other minor traffic violations.

Coordinated operations in preventing road collisions will continue.
