A forest fire in the area of Solea, near Troodos was extinguished early on Thursday morning, the forestry department announced.
According to the department, the fire broke out around 8.10am and fire engines were called to the scene from a nearby fire station.
Nine firefighters and three engines were used to put out the blaze.
The department is investigating the cause of the fire.
