Stolen rifles found in Vasa village

Three stolen hunting rifles were found in an abandoned house in the village of Vasa, Limassol police said on Thursday.

According to police, on Wednesday morning the rifles were found on the roof of an abandoned house in the village by an individual, who informed the police.

Police arrived at the scene, and found the rifles wrapped in a plastic bag and hidden under rocks.

During their investigations, police found that the rifles had been stolen in three separate instances form January to April 2020.

Police seized the rifles for further examinations.
