Triple car collision in Chlorakas

A 55-year-old man was taken to Paphos general hospital following a traffic collision involving two other vehicles, police announced.

According police statement, at noon on Monday, the 55-year-old while driving on Chlorakas Avenue, under circumstances being investigated, allegedly collided with the back of a vehicle drive by a 68-year-old woman.

From the collision, the woman’s vehicle was pushed into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle driven by a 57-year-old man.

The 55-year-old sustained injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Paphos hospital A&E where, after receiving first aid, he was kept on for surgery.

The exacts causes of the accident are being investigated.
