Police arrests 10 in Paphos gambling bust

Like many other sports, bridge has suffered during the Covid pandemic as most bridge clubs were forced to close. The seminar is structured to highlight ideas of moving on post-Covid and exchanging ideas for the promotion of European bridge

Police on Sunday said 10 people were questioned after they were found gambling in Paphos.

Officers raided the premises on Saturday night after securing an arrest warrant and found 10 people – including the owner – gambling.

Playing cards and dice were confiscated for evidence. The 10 individuals were charged in writing and will be called to court a later date.
