72 yr old dies in Pera Pedi car crash

A 72-year-old man died on Monday night after hitting a tree on the Pera Pedi-Mandria Road police said.

According to police, the man, Pantelis Peponias, was driving on the road, when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree.

The man was removed from the vehicle by authorities at the scene and rushed to Limassol General, where doctors declared him dead.
