Man wanted for string of burglaries arrested

A 41-year-old man waned for a series of break ins and thefts had been arrested, police said on Sunday.

He is thought to be behind two burglaries of homes which took place in the Paphos district on March 31 and April 8.

He is also suspected in a case of illegal possession of property, illegal possession of explosive substances and burglary tools in an offence on April 15, also in the Paphos district.

During investigations into the three cases, evidence against the 41-year-old emerged.

An arrest warrant was issued in his name on April 28, when a wanted man notice was also issued.

He was spotted in Paphos and arrested.
