‘Be a macaroon in a cookie cutter world’
The Philosophy of Dining at Nicosia Mall
Finding the Dining Sweet-Spot
Evolution is just as inescapable in the world of shopping malls as it is in life. The fact is that nowadays, shoppers crave so much more than a simple retail destination; they crave a 360° experience that bulldozes the boundaries of shopping, dining and leisure.
Nicosia Mall is that experience and is ahead of the game in not just meeting, but surpassing people’s leisure expectations, delivering an incomparable dining experience, alongside on-trend retail offerings and a wide variety of entertainment. With the average shopping experience lasting around 1 hour 30 minutes, visitors naturally gravitate to cafes, restaurants or simply grab a quick bite to replenish their energy, and for a mall, pinpointing the dining sweet-spot that satisfies every visitor is essential.
The Dining Sweet-Spot
Finding the perfect balance between shopping, dining and entertainment in a mall is critical to its success. People no longer visit malls simply to shop and often bypass retail outlets in favour of a favourite eatery. But, with its visitor-base spanning babes-in-arms to octogenarians, how will the new Nicosia Mall cater to the full spectrum of visitors?
General Manager of Nicosia Mall, Yoram Kedem, let us in on Nicosia Mall’s formula for dining success, “Our philosophy when it comes to the dining experience at Nicosia Mall revolves around calculating the correct balance between casual dining, popular cafes and restaurants. We do have a tried-and-tested formula that delivers each and every time, but we’ll be keeping that a secret …
“So what can visitors expect when they enter the Nicosia Food Place? Well, they’ll find brands they already know and love, but we also have a few unexpected surprises and unique culinary concepts in store for them … Hidden away on the roof of Nicosia Mall is an expansive open-air plaza, which will be home to a very special dining experience … we’ll be announcing it very soon.”
A Restaurant with a View
Nicosia Mall is located just off the A9 in Anthoupoli, blending harmoniously with the countryside surrounding it, which visitors can take in from the open-air plaza that tops the mall. This is one of the many standout features of Nicosia Mall and will feature two restaurants, an elevated park and numerous cultural events.
Yoram Kedem went on to say, “Diners will be spoilt for choice at the Nicosia Food Place at Nicosia Mall as we’ve ensured that there are plenty of delicious options to suit any palate, pocket or occasion! Giving people the power to be themselves is our mission, which would translate to – ‘Be a macaroon in a cookie cutter world’ – if I had to put the concept into words!”
