Five shop break ins in Paphos harbour area

Paphos police are investigating break ins in five souvenir shops and cafes in the harbour area.

The break ins took place on Friday and Saturday, police said, in five adjacent shops at the Paphos harbour. Business owners reported that money and several items and products have been stolen from their property.

Perpetrators broke into the shops through the back doors of the establishments, police said, which they opened with a sharp object.

Police are examining the footage of the surveillance cameras installed in two of the shops.
