Coronavirus: Migration office, tax office closed

The inland revenue department

The civil registry and migration department in Nicosia will remain closed to the public on Thursday and Friday in line with health protocols because of confirmed coronavirus cases.

In a written announcement, it said services to the public will not be available for the two days. The department was also closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the tax department said that its tax collection desks at the Nicosia district tax office will also be closed to the public on Thursday and Friday as part of measures being taken to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.

The public is urged to make their payments either on JCCSmart, (only for payments which are before the deadline) or using internet banking, for payments both before and after the deadline based on the reference number on the tax portal.
