Coronavirus: Eight businesses, 166 individuals reported

Police fined 166 individuals and eight businesses for flouting coronavirus protocols over the past 24 hours.

In Nicosia police carried out 2,343 checks, reporting 50 individuals and one business owner, while in Limassol  67 individuals and two business owners were reported from 2,817 checks. Six individuals and two businesses were reported in Larnaca out of 1,499 checks while 13 individuals were reported in Paphos from a total of 1,297 checks.

In Famagusta, police carried out 1,370 checks with 24 people and three business owners reported. Finally in  Morphou, 815 checks were carried without anyone found flouting  coronavirus protocols.

The Traffic Department carried out 778 checks charging six individuals.
